And some lessons are learned the hard way. I went into this movie with over 30 years of baggage. Superman was a key figure in my moral development as a child, so believe me, I was scared shitless I would hate it. But I went in willing to forgive a lot, knowing it wouldn't be perfect. And I loved it.
