The Canada Post strikes are a lot worse than I thought. I had someone on Ebay cancel a purchase I made. They said some international mail was being turned away. I couldnt believe it. Then I found this;

we have been forced to advise international posts, including the United States Postal Service, that we are unable to accept incoming items until further notice.”
