The handle is cut off a soft grenade launcher type gun that came with DC Rick Flagg.
I used a screw to cut a hole through the middle and slid it onto the protruding bar at the back of the gun, alongside glue - thus making it stay in place solidly.
Here is a pic to show that protruding pipe shaped bit at the guns rear.
