Curious to hear how your situation got resolved. I’ve had several similar experiences with Amazon.com and in the end I was told that they “will make a one time exception” and refund me the cost of the items plus shipping”
They’ve sent me a DC Multiverse Gotham by gaslight Batman in stead of the rebirth Wonder Woman ( wrong sticker on the package) and my 80th anniversary Superman vinimate set was crushed like an accordion ( for that I had to send pics)
Anyway in the end they usually let you keep the toy and refund the purchase
