I have a friend in Midland that preordered a Marvel Legends Silver Surfer from them. It came in like 3 months after it was released. The system is sooooo bad.
From what I’ve gathered talking to customer service and the guys at my store today I’m pretty sure EB’s distribution is handled by blind one armed sloths. Probably not, but at the least it seems like there is no solid connect between store preorders and distribution. Like the preorder records are solely kept in-store, so the warehouses just send out stock wherever and in whatever quantity they want. If it fills the orders, yay, if not, you’re boned. So wonky. We need to get an EB employee on the boards. We need the inside scoop, lol.
