Toybiz- Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings: Elrond of Rivendell.
I would have to check the tape, but I THINK that Toybiz inadvertently produced a two-for-one with this release. How so? Well for the millions of people who DON’T rewatch the unfairly maligned Hobbit Trilogy on a weekly basis, the dwarves, Gandalf and Bilbo end up in Rivendell after taking refuge from some goblins. It is in these scenes where Elrond eats with them and if memory serves, he is wearing these same robes. Couple that with a Gandalf the Grey, I have the makings of a figure set based on The Hobbit! Which in hindsight was never produced (in any great amounts that I ever saw anyway).
Pros: It’s Elrond in a bunch of robes, so it certainly has that going for it; they do look really nice and have a lot of flowy details though.
Cons: It’s Elrond in a bunch of robes. Certainly a nice display piece, but not exactly a toy that will put the ACTION in an Action figure.
