Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

A while back I was ranting about how the 4" Marvel series figures seemed to be taking all these steps in the wrong direction lately/near future, and took some shots a how expensive 6" stuff was, and that they weren't worth what you're getting(Marvel and Star Wars). And although I still think you're getting burned on the 6" Marvel stuff, I got to say that I'm completely wrong about the 6" Black Series Star Wars stuff.

With this recent 25% off sale at TRU, I finally got the chance to purchase the Biker Scout/Speeder Bike set. And I have to say that this is definitely a set worth getting(wicked figure).

This isn't my first buy from this line, in fact I've actually bought quite a few figures. One thing that really makes this line worth getting into, is the fact that I think almost every figure is a brand new mold/sculpt(unlike the new Marvel Legends-same bodies, different heads). And the accessories(they all come with something-it just adds to the value).

This has to be one of, if not the best line of figures I've seen lately, in any scale(c'mon G.I.Joe, bring on your 6" line). This line puts the new Hasbro Marvel Legends to shame.

Oh, and on another note, have any of you guys purchased the Jabba the Hutt set? Is it worth it? It just seems hard to throw down the money on this guy, even with this current sale price. As iconic as he is, all I see is a big blob of plastic.
