Its hit or miss with EB, some of the employees can find anything in the system and others are terrible.
I was pre ordering something the other day and the guy couldn't find it, so I gave him the presell#, then he scrolled around trying to find it for a few minutes before I asked "can't you just type it in?". Not knocking the guy but for a store that pushes its employees to get pre orders and extended warranties you would think navigating the inventory screens would be top priority on the training agenda.
