DC Collectibles- The New Adventures of Batman: Poison Ivy.
It pains me to write this as I REALLY love the idea of this toy line, but I can understand how some fans lost faith in this series. I’m not saying that its bad per se, but the last few releases have been disappointing. Perhaps it’s just too big of an ask to have a fully articulated toy line based on the stylized nature of the Timm-verse cartoon. Also, as with Icons Luther, I have to ask why this version of Ivy was released before the much better known Animated Series style. (To be honest, I was not even sure that they did end up doing a BTAS Ivy.. SMH.)
Pros: A very nice sculpt and works well as a static figure.
Cons: The stylized nature of the figure hinders articulation, figure feels really fragile and the accessories are pretty lame considering what some of the other figures came with. Also, that damn stand sucks sooooo hard.
