Re: Voltron toys
Well, if there's a space for the Black Lion, it'll be there. Unlike waves, the Black Lion is an assortement all it's own.
Though this is good to know I haven't missed them. Though as my local Walmart doesn't have any Voltron space available, I doubt it'll get them at all. My Walmart's got a smaller toy section and often doesn't stock a lot of lines.

Re: Voltron toys
Motormasters are everywhere. You can find a ton at Steeles and Hilda TRU. If you're looking for Onslaught Toys Toys Toys have them still.

Never seeing Combiner Wars deluxe wave 2, Motormaster or Onslaught in store, leaving me with 3 incomplete combiners leaves me iffy on this.

Re: Voltron toys
Black Lion not showing has me nervous, too. Not 'is it ever going to show up' nervous, but more of 'is it going to get a butchered sound clip' nervous. I remember the Transformers Leader class Starscream that only said 'Starscream!' and 'Decepticons!' instead of 'My name is Starscream!' and 'Decepticons, attack!' Could be that the Black Lion is being held back due to our stupid language laws? That would kill a lot of the awesome factor, especially with it being advertised in their little in-package product brochures.

Re: Voltron toys
Oh damn, didn't even consider that. Yeah, the electronics are kinda the big thing with black, aren't they?
My guess, it'll have an English and French version like some electronic toys do. They're too integral to the figrue to drop alltogether.

Re: Voltron toys
Figured I'd hedge my bets. Picked up the limbs at Walmart and ordered the black lion from bigbadtoystore.com. I'll have them all someday soon!

Re: Voltron toys
Boy, it's been a long time since I visited these forums!
Anyways, I've been looking for the Black Lion figure recently and no luck. When where these figures released? Has anybody found the Black Lion around the Burlington, Hamilton and Stoney Creek areas in ANY store?
Also, I'm considering just ordering the Black Lion from BBTS and just get the others in store, but I'm reluctant due to the fact that our Canadian dollar is messed up and it'll end up costing me $100 just to get one $40 from the U.S.
If anybody has ordered the Black Lion, how much am I looking at for ordering from the U.S.?

Guys, they'll be available everywhere soon enough. I'd hold off importing with the current dollar situation.
I think Playmates/Spinmaster were just caught super unawares by the popularity of this line. Voltron hasn't been a tested property since the 90's, whodathunk it'd be doing bumper crops almost twenty years later?
