Last time I did an order from Mattel Creations (Grizzlor) I wasn't charged taxes either and no dings on import too.

Edit: Oh i see your profile says Ont. Wonder why you dont get charged then. It very clearly says that it charges tax. And its showing that it would for me (I didnt check out though)

Yes.. but shipping makes it $50. If it were sold in store or on Amazon with free shipping at MSRP it would only be around $40 after tax which would be in line with regular pricing here now days. I don't like having to pay high shipping on something that's already priced a bit higher than it realistically should be. Call me cheap I guess.

Wouldn't surprise me if he got dinged. Around that amount is when stuff is more likely to get hit at the border when coming from USA.

For a single toy yea it might not make sense to order from them. But if you buy all three it averages out. $41/fig + tax. And its a flat rate shipping so if you order 2 of each its $39/fig. I would be shocked if they are < $40 CAD MSRP. I guess there is a chance we get them for $35, that would be nice if that happens.

Same thing happened to my with Rokkon and now Sy-Klone.


The MC site has gone completely to @#$% for non-US buyers.


I haven't seen hide, nor hair, of Rokkon yet, but Sy-Klone was the same story today. Made the purchase but wasn't charged taxes, just shipping and the price.



So I'm another one who will have to wait and see if I get dinged by customs.
