Pre-ordered Bad Batch Wrecker in store. Website says OOS currently.

Has anybody successfully gotten a Rebels Chopper from EB Games yet? My store pre-order got messed up due to COVID and now they say it was already released and they cannot get one in. I thought I heard EB was cancelling Choppers as well?

My order was cancelled as well. From what I was told it was 100% on Hasbro. They didn’t fill the orders for EB. Not sure wtf they did with this wave but this is the kind of shenanigans that make me leery on Hasbro’s promises. There’s really no excuse not to just make more stock and fill the orders. It’s annoying cause it’s the only figure they didn’t get in, and while I love Chop I’m not paying CMD scalpers $50+ for him.

I actually ended up going through CMD. They have Chopper at $31.95.

Oh sweet. That’s always appealing. I love being able to go to an actual store location to pick things up. I... have not had the best of luck with some online purchases. That’s cool that you’re close to their actual store to do that.

In truth, they used to have a store not far from me, in a nice neighborhood to walk around in. Sadly, they closed the shop around when covid hit (not sure if it was already planned, or as a result of the pandemic), and now their pickup location is quite a bit further away, near the airport, and shipping depots. Still, it's convenient enough to save the shipping fees, and it's not too far from my parents place, so it's better than nothing. But no browsing the shelves anymore…
