Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

I'm a Legends completist so I really couldn't afford or display another line - but every time I see pictures like this it makes me regret not getting into the line. GI Joe was such a huge part of my childhood it's tough to not get such phenomenal figures.

I must admit I am a bit fatigued by Legends, they are having to dig deep into the barrel for characters or new versions of main characters. GI Joe is what got me into action figure collecting in the first place. Each 83 to 86 figure is associated with such a strong memory. To be honest I am more a Cobra collector than anything else, when I first clicked on a picture of somebody RAH Viper army building in like 2002 I was hooked.

When I first started collecting the Classified line I just had they intermixed with my Legends. Duke took possession of Ultimate Captain America’s WWII motorcycle, and the Joes hung out with MCU Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Agent Coulson. My Cobra figures made friends with Electra, Killmonger and the Mandarin. They have their own shelf now since the collection has grown but if you’re tempted to pick them up you can always just go with the notion that GI Joe is an offshoot of SHIELD tasked with stopping HYDRA’s elite Cobra Force.

This reptile would go great with any Cobra Forces Army.
I agree, I grabbed one but haven’t opened yet

I wonder if TRU will be restocking Beach Head. I feel my resolve not to go the eBay route is crumbling. 😩

Couple weeks ago my local TRU got a bunch of Cobra Island stuff, including Beach Head and even Baroness! (Which I managed to snag!!!) So keep an eye out. Baroness also appeared briefly online for local pickup. Hopefully it wasn't just one-and-done.

Well that helps me to keep the hope alive a bit longer. I was lucky to get Baroness with local pickup a few months ago.

cmdstore has Cobra Infantry for $40. For the desperate or those who can do local pick up from them. Their shipping costs to BC are high.

And...they've already sold out. That was fast. At least they seem to be available at most stores.
