Nope, not missing anything. It's just a new head sculpt, but it can double as a standard stormtrooper and provides a George Lucas head for customizing purposes. I think it's the first Lucas likeness in this scale (just wait for the other Jorg Sacul boot to fall someday), whether you use if for reverent or irreverent purposes.

I can always use another stormtrooper, and being able to sneak him in there is a little amusing. I think there were a lot of resounding "meh"s on this release. The excitement is relative, but it also dropped rapidly so everyone who does want one has to scramble to get a preorder in (usually).

That's my two cents.

It's been a month and my Shock Troopers have not shipped at all. Anyone have better luck than me?

Got mine yesterday. There was some weirdness with the money being refunded a few weeks back, so I figured that they didn't have stock and cancelled my order. Recently the charge went through again, then Thursday I got an email stating that they had shipped. Now they're in hand.

Found a nice channel on Youtube that deals with toys and got recommended a video on how to spot fake Black Series. So for fun, I decided to check my Maul and Vader ones and see if they were fugazi. Sure enough, they were.

Had a good laugh about it. I bought them from a local game store about 3 years ago and they were the first Black Series I bought, along with a Boba Fett I bought as a Christmas present for someone which is also likely fugazi, so I didn't have a clue what to look out for.

Day is semi-ruined.
