Vader - terrible cape design, the whole figure looks odd
Stormtrooper - pretty good, a little skinny though
3P0 - good scale, nice Tatooine, he serves his purpose
R2 - good scale, nice detailing

In general, the joints on Revo figures are really fragile and in some cases like R2, kind of useless. I snapped my Stormtrooper arm first time I move the elbow. Whoever installed the joint placed it in the wrong way. I guess I should have checked the joint orientation first.

I hear good things about Revo Boba. Might go for it eventually. Personally, I prefer the Bandai kits.

Edit: hey Sam, be careful, I just did a little digging and looks like there are KOs of the Revo Boba now. Probably others too. I may try it cause the real version is about double the price.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

The issue with the joints MULTIPLEX raised is the main reason why I have stayed away from "import figures" like Revoltech, MAFEX and Play Arts Kai.

I purchased an Ezio Auditore Assassin's Creed PAK figure when it was released, and the legs were so wobbly that the figure could not stand on its own. So wobbly that the leg kept popping out. Other joints were quite loose too, like the wrists. Sold that one.

I purchased a Medicom MAFEX Batman from Dark Knight Rises. Amazing sculpt and accessories and articulation, but once again, his friggin' arms popped out at the shoulder like one of those old Crash Test Dummy figures. Sold that too.

I am very reluctant now to purchase these import figures with such issues, especially at the premium being charged for them.

I have the Boba Fett and Stormtrooper Play Arts Kai figs, and so far no issues.

My favourite line right now is the Movie Realization figures. Samurai and Star wars?? Yes please!!!!

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Man, Toys R Us Canada is really sticking it to us.

I get that in comparison to the US dollar our CDN dollar isn't the best, but the price disparity between Toysrus.com and toysrus.ca is ridiculous.

Case in point, the TRU Exclusive Black Series FO Snowtrooper with orange pauldron.

On the US site, the figure is the same price as the rest of the Black Series figures: $19.99.

Now, on the Cdn site, all Black Series figs are $24.99. A reasonable jump in price given the exchange rates, and it's something we are used to.

But then, that "exclusive" FO Stormtrooper. $29.99. What the hell!

Errors in pricing or just deliberately gouging the Canadian toy collector?

Gouging. Even worse, look at NECA stuff. $21.99 or so at .com, $34.99 at .ca (apparently from what they pay it's around a 75% markup). .ca seems to be trying to make bigger profits per item, I guess due to the weak dollar.

Definitely a little nuts trying to charge $29.99 for the Trooper just because it's an exclusive.

Oh god, I know. The disparity with NECA products are indeed worse.

With prices like that, it might even hurt a toy company like NECA, because I don't know of too many people who are gonna drop $34.99 on one single action figure when you can get it someplace else for a helluva lot cheaper. Time will tell I guess.

It was good. I love that there was more than one baddy. That rule of two crap was so dumb cause Lucas always killed off one of them. Of course that is a Sith thing and Kylo isn't a Sith, from what I gather, but whatever. They better not kill him. I want all those Knights of Ren in 6" scale
