Red Zakus were out last summer.

Re: New Dollarama Action Figure finds

Just checked out a local Dollarama and it looks like they restocked the Gundams and I was finally able to get XXXG-01W Wing Gundam.

Re: New Dollarama Action Figure finds

So i got these trays from dollarama to use as risers. I posted about them about a week or so ago. Decided to paint them but instead of taking the easy road of spray painting the outside I decided to hand paint the inside so that they can keep that plastic shine while making it easier to clean them in the future.

The plastic has next to no grip. The whole process takes so long to get proper coverage.

The black paint ain't so bad but the red paint is terrible. Basically gave up painting the red and just poured the paint on to fully cover a surface and then letting it dry which takes close to 48 hours since it's so thick.

I also over did it with the paint use. Could have gotten away by painting 1 wall and the bottom of the tray as that's the only surfaces you would actually see when it's on a shelf.

Frustrating but the end result will look great.

Curious why you did not mask off the outside and just spray the inside... would of been much easier than painting by hand ..

cause sometimes i don't think things through

although in retrospect I would have still used the pour method except the bottom of the tray would be red and the wall black. This way you have a stair case with red landings. Would break things up nicely.

Re: New Dollarama Action Figure finds

Just found the Marvel Legends Retro Wave 7 at Dollarama. Thanks for the heads up that it was out there, folks!

The store I ducked into in Pickering had two full sets of the wave. I grabbed a Firestar, Moon Knight and Nova.

They also had Star Wars Mandalorian 3.75 Retro figures (Mando and the Armourer).

Same here. Checked in case of Night Creepers, but no dice.
