You guys are brave. I couldn’t imagine waiting that long. Not even to mention the high cost of shipping from the USA.

I’m in no rush and the extra cost, while a pain, is often saved in gas from driving all over the city looking for something that doesn’t exist.

I waited a year to finally find Mysterio at retail price, black series Rex was another long wait. If it means getting it without hassle, or at ridiculous mark up, then im all for it.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I once waited two years to pickup my Classic TMNT Wave 2 Ninja Turtles case in the USA. Because everything I went down there for was so much more for me to pickup (when dollar was at par), I didn't wanna have to pay taxes.

I'm a patient guy, like someone said its just toys.

I'd rather wait then feed the exorbitant prices markups these third party sellers get away with.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Got most of the set at my local EB Games, if they doesn't show up anytime soon I'll grab Jubilee and Beast at the next Mississauga show to complete the wave.

I'm with you 100% on this. Plus the cost of buying a legends figure from BBTS is about on par with what you would pay after taxes at Walmart or TRU (it's actually 20 cents cheaper by today's exchange rate and if you keep the dollar value down you wont pay duties)...the shipping cost while high is easily palatable when you factor in the price of gas to drive around to multiple stores for weeks on end.

A few China sellers popped up the weekend Endgame was released. Likely trying to bank on the hype and sell a few of these. Be interested to see if they actually ship anything or if it’s just a scam.
