Yup this was leaked about a week ago. Will be a buy for me as long as the build quality is decent.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line
You would think these multi packs that are basically repaints (aside from the helmets) would be cheaper. Especially considering the bare bones accessories and lack of civilian heads. I Guess not. I'll be waiting for a deep sale.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line
Same.
You're essentially paying $200 for this, so $40 per figure.
Without the civilian heads, why are these figures so expensive?
4 of these figures just have repainted bodies.
Feels like a ripoff.

It feels like one because it is. I'm also very wary of these new body sculpts hasbro has been rolling out lately with this line. Every review I've seen for the new TF Blue with bike, complain about the plastic quality feeling terrible and joints being gummy, loose, etc. It Doesnt give me much confidence this set will be problem free..

Here is what I don't get: Why isn't Hasbro putting in the effort to release quality Power Rangers products? I'm really digging the quality Hasbro has been putting into its recent G. I. Joe Classified figures and some Marvel Legends ones (i.e. great headsculpts, good paint apps, etc.) With the Power Rangers line, the general consensus among toy reviewers is that everything is sort of half-ass in terms of the product quality and deployment. I'd gladly pay the full, high-cost price if Hasbro released a five-pack of the original MMPR or Zeo Rangers with great headsculpts, the appropriate weapons, and good quality plastic and joints. Instead, we have to wait months for individual figures to be released, and then exercise caution regarding which ones are worth purchasing versus skipping due to quality control issues or poor implementation. It's almost as though Hasbro needs to initiate a HasLab project in order to give the nostalgic, adult fan base the Power Rangers Zords and figures they desire.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line
Probably because Power Rangers isn't a quality brand.
Look at how crappy the TV show is currently, and Hasbro plays a part in it's development and production.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line
Because they can get away with churning out low quality, low effort products with no consequence. This goes for all their brands. This is what happens when a company has no competition cause they own all the brands everyone cares about.
I dont watch PR anymore but I do from time to time check out at least an episode or 2 per season out of curiosity and Dino Fury is definitely PR at its worst. The dialogue is just cheesy and the delivery is terrible. The acting is flat and everything else is just boring and bland. If DF is what to expect from Hasbro in full control this franchise might as well be dead in the ground.
