Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

Update:

Skystriker: 5,440 / 10,000 +40
Rancor: 5,091 / 9,000 -25
Proton Pack: 8,480 / 7,000 +82

So the Skystriker and Proton Pack continue to add about the average daily numbers.

However......WHOA! The Rancor shed 25 backers from yesterday. This is after revealing tier 2!!! Good Lord there seems to be some push back from fans over the way the Haslab is being handled.

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

Update:

Skystriker: 5,471 / 10.000 (+31)
Rancor: 5,106 / 9,000 (+15)
Proton Pack: 8,546 / 7,000 (+66)

So about the same as usual. However the Rancor only added 15 units, which taken with the previous days numbers means that it still lost 10 units over the last 2 days.

Update:

Skystriker: 5,486 / 10,000 (+15)
Rancor: 5,120 / 9,000 (+14)
Proton Pack: 8,599 / 7,000 (+53)

Looks like another slow day. All the projects are down compared to yesterday and their daily averages. I guess the positive is the Rancor is finally adding units again after being negative, in total, for the previous 2 days.

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

Update:

Skystriker: 5,524 / 10,000 (+38)
Rancor: 5,135 / 9,000 (+15)
Proton Pack: 8,722 / 7,000 (+123)

So the Proton Pack is closer to it's daily average than it has been for almost a week. Good for it. The Skystriker is also back up a bit. The Rancor is basically holding steady at the lower average now. That has resulted in the Skystriker again putting a bit of distance between it and the Rancor in total numbers.

Let's see if the final reveals today will make a big enough difference for the Rancor. The Skystriker has a couple of minor update videos yesterday which was nice to see. However I think they need to do another fan first, like the SW team, to get more eyeballs on the project.

Not surprising, the lacklustre Rancor is getting a write-up here:

While I agree with the general idea of the article.....DEAR GOD DON'T POST AN ARTICLE IF YOU CAN'T FACT CHECK, AND EDIT, IT FIRST!!!

Comparing it to the 40" Sentinel (it was only 26") was just stupid. Then the numerous spelling errors, and finally saying it could be one of the first Haslabs to not fund. There can only be one first, and it was Cookie Monster.

Geez.

Glad it's not just me that notices these things. It's across all media these days.

I believe it's because the BleedingCool people often write their articles on their smartphones, so seeing spelling mistakes, and grammatical errors is a fairly common occurrence in BC articles.

The Rancor has dropped to 4,917 backers as of 9:14pm PST. Yeesh. That is not a good look.

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

The Hasbro SW team is probably furiously making 3d models of the Rancor Keeper and Oola to render out and announce a "re-do" with revised tiers.

At least they better be, if they want to salvage this mess.
