Damn man $5 Fridays had a ton of Marvel Legends, has anyone ever actually got lucky online with anything good on 5$ Friday's I never have, some inside jobs going on here, I've even waited up till 6 am never saw anything, who gets these other then the insider scalpers?

Same here. Items show available at my local stores so I place the orders, but they always get cancelled. I don't think I've ever had a $5 Friday order actually get filled.

I believe this is the Elvis version right? I saw on their website that the Elvis-Modok was $5 but out of stock.

Yeah, there's a guy who used to get to the store early and grab anything good that was $5. And he also somehow knew what time the items were posted on the website and pre-ordered everything that was good for pickup... definitely was an inside job. Everyone else just gets the scraps.

Wow seriously, I don't even get why they just dump these off at 5 bucks, why not sell stuff for like half off first, I'd have bought this.

but like I said before 5 dollar Fridays are a joke, nobody actually gets this stuff, only the insiders.

So here is my haul from today.

Had to go to 3 different GameStops. Only one of which I actually had an online order for when I went.

Ordered 3 ML figs from one store, only to be called and told they were already sold out. Marvel Girl was in stock at one location, and surprisingly they confirmed the order. I picked up Darkstar and MODOK from my local place just because I was going by and decided to stop. MODOK was just sitting in the $5, and the manager said he was surprised no one had bought it yet. I wasn't even aware it was on sale.

So yeah it is crazy sometimes. I have had a couple of $5 orders cancelled before so it definitely is hit or miss. Usually the best online orders are from the warehouse (add to cart, not click and collect) because they are in stock for sure and not picked out by customers/employees. The only downside is trying to get enough items for free shipping. Don't want to think about the 4 ML Silver Centurion Iron Man I bought just to get free shipping. Although it is hard to complain about $5 ML legends.
