Re: Marvel Legends discussion

As with Hobgoblin, I am waiting for the inevitable re-release of Shocker where Hasbro will actually paint the lines this time. Not painting them this time around was just a cost-saving measure, and gives them an excuse to re-release the "improved" version in a few years.

And by that time, Legends will be $50 each

This... this is probably going to be a prophetic statement.

I guess we can always go down to the US and sell our blood to raise the money so we can keep buying our tiny plastic men!

In fact, I just bought a NECA Alien "Ash" the other day and it was $48+tax, and I preordered a NECA Thing Macready which was $50+tax. NECA used to be one of the best values for the buck, but now their pricing is probably indicative of where collectible figures are headed in terms of pricing.

Well at least Neca figures are a bigger scale and tend to have better paint apps, sculpts and accessory count than the average Marvel Legend. So $45-50 isn't THAT bad..

Hasbro released a digital render prototype pic of their upcoming Disney+ Moon Knight figure, which will be part of the What If Infinity Ultron wave.

The pic should have small print that reads, "Paid for by $40 Bucky-Caps"

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I'd rather Hasbro made the comic book-based original costume of Moon Knight and include an unmasked head. I'd have bought that.

To the best of my knowledge it was perhaps the only one to not show up at our games stop
