Oh Absolutely, but it's pretty amusing that they had to reduce the prices on a ton of these items (back to original price) so they could lure in a sale, which makes me think even they know what's up, and are seeing a likely decline in purchases because of the massive price hike. It's just not feasible to think people are going to be okay with a mark up so high and with no gradual incline, just a huge swoop, they gotta see the numbers are dipping.

GameStop was barely able to fulfill one of my 2 Symbiote Spider-Man pre-orders. Amazon has now put me on the dreaded "We'll update you when we have an update" messaging cycle after delivery was supposed to be today (Ben Reilly is currently out for delivery).

What is with the massive shortage of Symbiote Spideys? If the cases are a full wave, how are the numbers so far off (rather how were so many pre-orders accepted)? Maybe there are solid cases still to come?

I hate when pre-orders amount to nothing - between this and the ShopDisney X-Force fiasco... I'm tellin ya.

I had an amazon pre-order from October that they just cancelled on the day it was supposed to be delivered. Its a shame since I could've pre-ordered somewhere else. There doesn't seem to be any available at retail from any other source either.
