Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I wonder if this also means the end of the retro carded lines?

Toad is up at Gamesrop. $47.99. Ugh. I'm glad I only need a couple more figures to complete the collection because that price is ridiculous.

This. It's already pretty bad. It'll even worse now cause either it's a gamble or staff will make you wait forever while they inspect it throughly.

Le sigh.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Even with the 15% Onyx discount at GameStop, these prices are insane. Hasbro jacked prices 30% in a year! TRU pricing is now standard. Meanwhile, Dorkside is parting out the 2-packs as loose figures, in a 60/40 price split between the popular and unpopular characters. Probably makes shipping cheaper too.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Yeah whoa, Gamestop was always the best place to get figures as of recent with the discount

but even then these prices hurt hard, Toad & Iron Spider 47.99? really I can't even fathom how they justify that being the prices on those 2

Knull & Venom 114.99 , sure Knull is a big boy and Venom has huge wings...that still seems steep

I think however these are a higher price because these items are part of Programs, being the 60th Anniversary and 20th, they always as a more premium price when it comes to those program figures, but that being said...a regular figure still costs 35.99-39

Almost time to bow out of this Hasbro game.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

And the Venom in the 2-pack isn't even a new mold. It's a repaint of the movie Venom, which I find doesn't fit the comic aesthetic at all.

I thought it looked like a repaint of the cel-shaded Venom mold, especially considering it already has the holes to fit in the wings, and looks bulkier than the movie Venom mold.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

No, it's movie mold. I actually like the way it looks and would put it on my MCU shelf (without the wings) but not at that price and I don't care about Null.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a two pack of movie Venom and Carnage. Seems like a no-brainer.
