They really do. I find the thigh swivel doesn't line up properly so the thigh is angled and the food looks like it's Pidgeon toed.

For $50 a figure after tax and an exclusive you'd think they would have made a better quality. But then again I bought them knowing the problems, so why should Hasbro care.

The Ninjetti figures have some of the most abysmal qc I've ever seen from Hasbro. For a few of them, I needed to buy multiple to get a version with little to no imperfections (sloppy paint, frozen joints, missing accessories, two of the same accessory, some were literally upside down in the packaging).

To be fair, Red and Yellow had much less issues.

Looks like we are going to betting older figures redone in painless technology. Lightning collection remastered. Looks like it has an anniversary number on the top.of the box, I do like that art on the side. I'd probably only go for MMPR for upgrades, I'm ok with other Rangers being pinned.

I'm definitely not selling my MMPRs.

I got them for $20 each back then.

These new 'Remastered' figures will be $35.99 minimum, likely more.

What's the point?

More accurate looking helmet. I couldn't stand the helmets on the original ones, plus the plastic colors were off on all of them except for black and yellow. If I'm not happy with something in my collection I'd rather sell and wait for another alternative or go without than to have to look at something on my shelf I'm not content with.

It's Hasbro. There will always be re-releases with minor incremental changes.

Which also begs the question, why even buy the first releases to begin with if you didn't like the helmets and the plastic?

For their original pricepoint, they were fine.

Not surprised. Not sure I'd even get them. I'm happy enough with my originals.

I know, but I don't expect the perfect figure, just the one that is perfect enough for me. If the remasters ticks every box for me I won't be buying an updated version again even if the next one they do is better. I bought the original releases mainly because of the price point and nostalgia. The more I looked them the more I started disliking them for the helmets. The plastic I could have lived with if the helmets were better. I agree plastic quality wise the figures were fine at the price point but I can't agree with the helmets being fine for the price point though. For $25-30 the helmets should have been better. I could understand it for kids toys that are like $10-$15 but these are marketed as collector grade, screen accurate figures. Anyway that's just my take.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

I could live with two sets of MMPR. One for helmets, one for portraits. But I'll wait and see if we get Figuart renewals of the Zyuranger series before jumping in on these new Hasbro releases.
