Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

I bit the bullet and just ordered the new Python Patrol figures and Trouble Bubble from Pulse
I did some math and the USD/CAD conversion on Pulse orders still comes out cheaper than finding them in TRU - and now free shipping on an order like that.

Thanks. I managed to save over $20. I will refund the Gamestop one when it arrives.

According to toynewsi.com, some overseas sellers in Hong Kong posted pics of the upcoming retro packaging Scarlett and Duke.

Beauties!! Can't wait for these man! I'm really digging how the line appears to be splitting in two; retro and neo-classic/ modern. More fans from diff generations should come away happier!

They also had pics of the 60th Action Soldier (Diver) and Airborne (in package). Lots of great stuff coming.

Also here are some rumours that were presented by someone on Youtube named It'sChad. I kind of saw him around the 3POA Podcast with the guy who has Bobby Vala on all the time. So he seems to be into Joes a good bit.

Anyway take it with a grain of salt, but here are some of the "highlights" of what he says his source, who seems to be in Hasbro, or at least has the ear of someone in Hasbro, had to say:

- Classified will have another price point next year. It will be in the $150-$200US range and the most likely candidates for that price will be the Thunder Machine and Snow Cat.

- Hasbro may be looking at bringing back the 4" modern takes of the Joe line (25th/ME style). However they are working on how they want to do it, the possibility of a membership/subscription service was floated.

- Hasbro is looking at bringing back vehicles for either O-Ring or 4" with an emphasis on the usual molds....but the rumour is that they are also looking at two bigger, never reissued vehicles. The Whale and Night Raven.

Again take this with a grain of salt until someone confirms either way.

I never took to Storm Shadow's He-Man styled arms.

So on whim I've switched to the Articulated Icons arms on the Classified body. I like the leaner vibe it gives him.

.
I ain't complaining really, well, maybe retroactively........$200 USD is a Haslab minus 3 of the four bonus figures.

I guess they have realized they can sell that size of vehicle now.

Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

Interesting news/rumors. The price 150-200$ Price point makes sense, and I think the VAMP was their way of testing that. Yeah, might make the wallet a bit strained, but if it means getting the Water Moccasin and the Wolverine, the Skyhawk, etc...I'm all in!
