Most definitely. However Pulse will probably be my go to for exclusives going forward. Gamestop doesn't seem as reliable anymore in getting them.



It will be interesting to see how things play out in 2024 if the production cut by Hasbro is a real thing. A nearly 30% cut in production could mean a lot less product on shelves and quicker sell outs. Which could mean fewer sales and collectors will have to make decisions faster.

Seems like they pushed production so far that they had stock filling up discount stores - now maybe they're cutting back down to early-wave production numbers.

It wasn't SUPER hard to find stock in stores in the early lines of GI Joe (like, the Flint/Lady Jaye/Spirit/Cobra Officer days) so maybe it will be more like it was a year or so ago

Got my HISS tracking number today, so it'll be great to get that in before Christmas.

I cancelled a previous order for a VAMP, and reordered to get the free shipping. It was roughly a $30 difference, so that's going to help the bottom line on any larger orders.

Friday haul. I could have waited for the retro release that is rumoured as I am with Scarlet/Duke/Recondo but the "with new hat" effect is real.

Breaker/RAM, Big Ben, Chuckles, Stalker still on the way and that will catch me up on all Joe characters to date.

I'm happy that plastic packaging is returning. I've received 2 Joe orders with swapped figures this year while in the past I never received anything like that before.

Yup, thank you Trudeau for CERB and saving the livelihoods of millions of Canadians during the pandemic. And I know more than a few toy collectors who used that money to buy some of the more expensive Hasbro toys (that Slave 1 exclusive vanished pretty fast from my TRU once CERB got into the hands of collectors)

And before anyone believes that idiotic right-wing propaganda, it didn't affect the value of our dollar at all. Facts matter. A 10 year chart shows that our dollar compared to the USD is basically in line with where it's roughly been before the pandemic.

The US also increased money supply by 30%+ which in turn creates a devaluation of their money as well.

Make more of anything and that thing losses its value. It's one of the many reasons why we are seeing present day inflation on everything around us.

Funny thing is I got an email notification just last night that my Fire Team 788 was picked up by FedEx and this morning I got an email from Pulse asking how they did with my Fire Team 788 order and they hoped I was enjoying my purchase.

Got my Low-Light from Amazon a couple days ago. Love the figure, it is a great update and I can't wait to pop him into the display. However Amazon pulled a Walmart and shipped him in a box too small so the top peg flap was bent and there is a huge crease on the back of the box. Not a huge deal since I don't display the back of the box, but I do like the numbering system of the Classified line so I do keep the boxes in order. So it is a minor annoyance.

I got my notification on my HISS yesterday evening (Ottawa area, here). Still tied up in Ontario, California according to the tracking info. Scheduled to arrive Monday.
