That reminds me of the scene from "White Christmas" where Danny Kaye's character was discussing with Bing Crosby's character about the cost of putting on a show with the whole cast over Christmas.....

To paraphrase:

"How much is this going to cost?"

"Wow"

"How much is Wow?"

"Somewhere between Ouch and Boooiiinnngg!"

That made me laugh because it was kind of my reaction. However I am going to work on getting the funds together because this will be up there with the Khetanna and Unicron. A massive, true collection centrepiece that will be hugely expensive on the secondary market, just like the original.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Yeah, that price is going to hurt. Surcharge for shipping isn't even specified, so you know it's going to be a lot more than $50. Throw in some duty fees and you're going to be a lot closer to a grand when all is said and done.

Almost none of us would have space for it, but we're all considering it anyhow!

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Anybody get Unicron?

What did it come out to after all was said and done?

I know the asking price was $575US, but anyone care to share what their final total was? I feel like this and Unicron are similar pieces. Giant, once in a generation, collection centrepieces.

With the crazy prices of the original, and the inherently short time span of a line at retail (or made by the manufacturer), this is going to be the only time something this size will get made. And again, the aftermarket is going to be insane, just like with the Khetanna and Unicron.

I assume this is the Eternia being discussed? I didn't see a link in this thread.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Hasbro charged Canadians their regular $29.99 USD shipping on Unicron. It was almost 20 pounds according to 2019 webpages. There were no extra fees because HP collected taxes in 2019 like they usually do.

I found Stinkor, Scareglow and Andra. No sign of Fisto though. Who have you found?
