Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

I also came across wave 6 here in NB. Well, remnants of it. Webstor was long gone. Just as well I got him from BBTS months ago when it looked like this wave was skipped here.

Nice. Hopefully the $19.97 hangs around for a bit as well.

Yes indeed.

Missed this wave completely.

Also saw that in the US Target has been getting some standees with early wave 1/2 stuff as well (Scare Glow, Orko, etc).

I need a couple of figs from those first waves as well (Orko, Man-E-Faces, Teela, Beast Man). I lucked out on Man-At-Arms, Trap Jaw and Scare Glow, but no luck on those others.

Maybe Mattel Creations will also get some stock online.

I don't know if it's still up, but Toysnowman did have the Teela and Zoar 2-pack for preorder a couple of weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure that Teela is the same mold as the basic line release, although it's possible Mattel might've given this 2-pack version some more paint apps.

The paint on the Teela with Zoar is more yellow than gold on the final product. It doesn't look as nice as the initially released images.

Camo Khan going up on Mattel Creations Dec 2nd, looks like $44 CAD plus shipping. Not a fan of the pricing, but no reason not to share the info.

It's very much appreciated. But yeah, I won't bite. I guess MOTU is going back to the Classics model of going more and more online, aimed at fans.

FYI, speaking about prices, Walmarts have been liquidating various MOTU product this past year. Many are no longer supposed to be on shelves, but to remain in the system, Walmart has them at 2 cents. Not all stores have sold these items or taken them down yet so you might still be able to find some MOTU product that rings at 2 cents. I found the eternia minis as well as the Netflix CG MOTU 2 pack for 2 cents.

I saw one of these standees tonight at Target. Had all 4 wave 2 figures. Kinda annoyed I had just paid twice as much to finally get a Scareglow. Didn't know the wave was about to be re-released. Oh well, at least I finally got the last early wave figure I was missing. Are these only being re-released at Target? Hopefully Wal-Mart's in Canada will get them as well so those who missed out on those figures can get them.
