Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Wow. So the Hasbro X-Men Animated stuff was there for a reason.

The 'Fox' X-Men Animated Series is coming back with brand new episodes on Disney Plus! Called 'X-men 97'

Creativity must be at an all time low these days.. Everyone just bringing old shows back, remaking old movies and remastering old Video Games. I wouldn't mind seeing some original things.

Yes please! Bring on more seasons of 90s Spider-Man and Batman: TAS too. Every other version of these shows has kinda sucked, so I’m all for new episodes of the best versions.

Been the case for decades. At least they are bringing back something I loved I'll take that over something original and decidedly inferior like X-Men Evolution.

The only reason they're doing that is because people eat it up. If nostalgia didn't sell, then no one would be doing retro/remake/etc of anything.

Plus, the kids that grew up with X-Men TAS and now adult consumers.

Disney+ following the money.

Wouldn't surprise me if X-Men 97 is more geared towards older audiences, instead of kids.

The new Spider-Man animated series is interesting. It's the origin story of Tom Holland's Peter and his early adventures before Civil War. So it will feature the homemade-Spiderman suit. Maybe Uncle Ben. The Oscorp field trip. The Spider bite.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

The 90s X-Men cartoon will probably come to D+, before the new episodes begin.

D+ content doesn't seem to get physical media releases.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Disney actually censored some stuff from the xmen animated series, one scene i noticed was them blurring out the title of one of the books Beast was reading in s4e05. "Making of the President 1968".

There is a real life book with that title so I guess copyright?

its on disney+ but you can watch the original aired episodes here
