will prolly regret it and since i placed the order now it will naturally mean that BBQ will get released in droves in TRU stores like the same day it ships out from Pulse.... but this is the last toy on the list for 2021 and the only one I bought for Dec/Xmas.

I bought Beachhead a couple of weeks ago only to walk into my local TRU and see a dozen or so on the shelf. I had never seen one in person before that. With the prices now at $34*1.13 in Ontario, as long as I order something else so the shipping isn't as painful, the costs come close.

I grabbed the Marvel Legends Excalibur 3-figure set as well. Shipping = $22USD for the 2 packages. When I bought Beachhead i also grabbed another larger set. Helps my wallet sleep better.

Checking Kijiji, the only BBQ I see is $60 in TO and it is local pickup only. $23 USD = approx $30 CAD, so coming out ahead of the scalpers even paying for the Fedex from Hasbro.

I've considered ordering Barbecue from Pulse or Target but I'm sure if I do shortly after it will show up at TRU like Beachhead did recently. That's what happened with Snake-Eyes and Timber. I ordered it from an online retailer and a few days later I saw 10 of them at TRU. Could have had it in hand for a cheaper price but now I have to wait for who knows how long for it to ship. Modern toy collecting has become a big game of chance.

GI Joe Classifieds in particular. I have been close to dropping the line, but nostalgia keeps drawing me back in. Hasbro Pulse ships same or next day if the item is in. Default Fed Ex shipping takes 24-48 hours to Ottawa.
