Kind of an insult to fans though because, rather than fixing the mistakes they did with their wave 1 monsters with the upcoming monsters, they decided to make it exclusive and hike the price. The monsters were a great idea, but Hasbro wanted to put very little effort and get max profits (e.g. all King Sphinx needed was a wash and some paint on the nose).

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line
The thing is... there are plenty of fans that will still buy it, so Hasbro will profit from this move.
It sets a bad precedent for this line, as it becomes more and more 'Exclusive'

Yeah, definitely. I kind of hate that this is the direction that many action figure lines are taking.

Pudgy will definitely sell even at that price point cause MMPR purists have no self restraint.

Even with his simple color scheme, they still couldn't be bothered to paint the entirety of his mouth.

Every Hasbro line is becoming more and more exclusive oriented. It's making collecting their stuff not really worth it the effort anymore. If they actually put the same amount of effort into making these figures as the people do trying to buy them it would be a different story but that's not the case.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line
Money talks man.
I suspect there will be enough that will pay top dollar for these exclusives to justify these price hikes.
I have a bad suspicion that soon there will be overpriced exclusive ranger figures that are necessary to complete teams.
That way Hasbro will lure in the casual team-builder buyers as well.

Does anyone know where to get the tyrannosaurus sentry in Canada? Was it an exclusive somewhere?

He was being sold on Hasbro Pulse and Target. Will we get him in Canada? Who knows. There's exclusives we've never gotten here so it could be the same case with sentry.

If it's, Target in the US, that usually means TRU. But yeah, hard to say as sometimes we don't get stuff at all.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line
Yeah TRU will most likely carry it and release it out of nowhere like they did with the Black Dino Charge ranger. I doubt it will be as much as a peg warmer tho.
