Re: Marvel Legends discussion

So this is a prime example of missing an opportunity. Right now the Hydra Stomper is not desirable. The figure was only featured in one episode of a mediocre series. It’s a huge figure and at $40 amazing to army build. 3 years from now they will be in huge demand once customizes figure out what they can do with it.

Well the Hydra Stomper will return in season 2 of What If?

The first episode is tentatively called "What If Captain Carter fought the Hydra Stomper?"

So basically it will be Steve and the Hydra Stomper being this universe's take on the Winter Soldier program.

So it may show up again in the original colours, or it may get a new paint job, which of course will mean a new release of the figure most likely.

Either way, yes it is an amazing toy, and really one of the stand out releases from ML in the past 5 years, hell since they got the license. So yeah, if people can, get it now because it is a great toy, and a great price which probably won't come around again. If they do release it again it will probably be more expensive than the first release, and no guarantee that it will be the same version.

Also, the new figures were not live at 1pm. I think the earliest they went up was 1:30, maybe 2:00. Red Skull was gone by 3:24 pm.
I looked at 1:30iwh and every few minutes until 3ish. Didn't see them because I didn't scroll down to the middle of the page. Their site needs a revamp it's so shit. Got red skull in at Amazon though.

I shoulda known! Amazon.ca never has sales unless they're price matching Walmart or TRU these days.

TRU also has the Deluxe Black Widow for $25. Decent figure, with an amazing stand and accessories set.

The Iron Monger set has been $50 at GameStop for a couple weeks now, if your local store has any left.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I was at TRU (in Montreal) today looking for Rhino, but he wasn't there. Instead I found TONS of that Thor Ragnarok cyborg figure. Didn't see it reported in the front page, but that toy was more plentiful than any other figure.

By the way $60 CAD for a $30 USD figure is beyond insane on behalf of TRU.

That is crazy. Just goes to show you how even today distribution is a gamble for exclusives.
