Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Nice, canprime! Looks like Faker and Dupli-Cat went pretty fast. I managed to get the Grayskull accessory pack I was after, and it was a surprisingly painless process. Didn't want to chance missing it to get Faker as well.

Just picked up a regular Panthor this weekend, along with some minis and vehicles. I've been holding out for flocked Panthor, but haven't come across one yet. I didn't want to end up in the dreaded "no-Panthor" situation because i waited too long.

Hope a few of you were able to get what you were after!

Thanks man. I made sure to do a dry run yesterday with Mattel Creations' website (made an account, checked payment process, got a handle of navigating the site).

I missed out with BBTS/Power Con the first time, so I wasn't holding my breath this time. However I lucked out so we will see what happens.

I would like to get a flocked Panthor, but not at full price. So if I miss out, oh well, I have the regular version.

I did the same dry run after completely missing out last time they went up. I was also keeping a tab up on BBTS in case they started to pop up there. Luckily I am also a veteran of the Mattycollector Wars...

Crazy seeing the prices and number of auctions on Ebay right now, multiples around $450-500 for the Grayskull set alone. It boggles the mind.

Welcome to our hobby right?

Forgot to mention that the release date for Faker/Duplicat is different than the Grayskull accessories pack. So I wonder if Mattel will ship separately, or hold it until all my order is in hand.

I was able to get the Grayskull set and a Tri-Klops (he may be ugly but I’m a sucker for anything from the mini-comics). Was shocked that my order went through, and was just as surprised by the $12 shipping.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Congrats m.arndt

I actually like the mini comic Trap Jaw, Merman and Beast Man, but Tri-Klops and Stratos? Blech!!

Also I had to post the Panthor package I received today. Usually TRU does very little to package the items. So much to my surprise they packed Panthor way above and beyond. In the pic is 2 strands of air bubbles. Both of them are 8 feet long!!! The box was absolutely stuffed. Nothing was moving more than a centimetre inside. Of course this is TRU so they still did something. The Panthor box was pushed up right against one side of the box, so there was no protection if that side of the box was damaged.

Oh well it all still worked out right?

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Waves 3 and 5 were plentiful at Walmarts here in New Brunswick. But I never saw wave 4 with Triklops, Ninjor, Hordak and Stratos at any Walmart around me. I got lucky and found the latter 3 at TRU, but ended up ordering Triklops from Amazon US. My fear is that wave 6 will be scarce too.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

My mini comic Tri-Klops arrived today. Very cool of Mattel to send just Tri-Klops when the Grayskull set is not ready yet. $12 total for two separate shipments certainly wouldn’t have happened in the Matty Collector days…..
I wish I had paid closer attention as I wasn’t aware mini comic Tri-Klops has the glow in the dark Grayskull ring included. I would have ordered 2 so I could open one and keep one boxed.
