Star Wars: Battle At The Sarlacc Pit Released at Winners

Thanks to multiple sightings we now know that the former Target Exclusive Battle at the Sarlacc Pit has been released at Canadian discount retailer Winners.

The price on this set is $69.99.

Very interesting. Not sure if I will bite at this though. The figures this set comes with are pretty outdated. And $70 is rather steep just for the pit. I think it retailed for around $65 in the States, didn't it?

Can anyone comment on the quality of the skiff in this set? Im interested in the Sarlacc, but nothing else here seems worth having besides, possibly, the vehicle.

I doubt I could ever drop $70 on this set anyway.

At a glane it seemed to me that it was the same skiff released a while back(maybe 2002 or so?), just repainted slightly.

Re: Star Wars: Battle At The Sarlacc Pit Released at Winners

I bought this pack off ebay a few months ago and it's identical to the previously released Skiff. I recommend that if you want it, get it off eBay and you can probably get it cheaper than $70 (which is a ridiculous price). My cost wound up being $54 and I actually got it just for the Sarlacc, not the skiff.

The figures that come with this set, especially Luke, are some of the worst sculpts I have ever seen. I only got this for the Sarlaac itself, its pretty sweet. You can remove the beak if you don't like it.

Saw one at Winners Scarborough (Eglinton & Warden) Ya, pass on that too.

They also had a couple Y-Wing Bombers ($39.99) in damaged boxes. Rather have the 30th Anniversary Y-Wing.
