Not that great of a deal. Even with the BOGO 1/2 sale, the deluxe figures are still going to cost more than TRU and Walmart's regular priced deluxe figures.

I don't think they're even really trying anymore. If this is what Zellers is going to be like for the stores that don't convert into Targets, they should just throw in the towel now. Pour some gas on the stock, light a match and sit back.

I don't think this makes the BOGO 1/2 deal any better, but it's here for you guys if you want to use it. It'll probably make the deluxe figures just a bit cheaper than TRU's regular price.

Zellers Memory Showcase?!? HA! Do they really want people sharing their memories of Zellers these past few years? I got some I'd love to share, like visiting the half drunk cup of Tim Horton's coffee that sat, opened, on the shelf in the action figure isle for a total of five weeks before someone finally threw it away. Nothing warms the spirits like seeing a cup of gray coffee with fruit flies floating in it while you're splunking through the nine pegs full of Iron Man 2 figures that still aren't on clearance.

My best memory? Grabbing 2 Landspeeders and 3 Tauntaun sets (was buying a set for a buddy of mine) for dirt cheap, I think around $12 each after using my dad's HBC giftcard to pay for it. Thanks Zellers!

Hmm...Zellers memories. Hard to say. Definitely nothing recent.

Off the top of my head, I guess it was their Batman commercials. I still remember seeing them on TV. It was when Zellers was still using "the lowest price is the law" slogan. Anybody remember those Zellers Batman commercials?
