Re: Pulsecon 2021 ? G.I. Joe Retro O-Ring Line and Haslab Skystriker
This seems just OK, is this even going to be a new mold?

If you mean the Skystriker, then probably yes. Especially because India (Playskool) wrecked the mold when they made their Skystrikers. Hence why Hasbro had to make a new mold during the 25th era.

That Skystriker just looks like the same as the 25th anniversary one that I bought from WINNERS for $35. Toss in a few modest upgrades... and bammo, charge $230US + shipping!
It should've been the USS Flagg.

Re: Pulsecon 2021 ? G.I. Joe Retro O-Ring Line and Haslab Skystriker
So I just finished watching day 2 and yes this is a completely new mold. Apparently they did work with Northrop Grumman to get a more accurate depiction of the F-14 Tomcat.
I get that the price is high, but it is Haslab after all, and the sheer amount of things included, and the updates to the mold are pretty astounding.
Overall everyone has to choose for themselves, but this just strikes me as a great choice for the first Haslab.

Would be nicer if it was closer to true 1/18 scale

Re: Pulsecon 2021 ? G.I. Joe Retro O-Ring Line and Haslab Skystriker
Completely new or not, it is very similar to the Anniversary model. Tomcat's a Tomcat, but if they had cleaned up the seam-lines and screw-holes I think the premium price would be justified.
Even if it hits all the stretch goals, $375 CAD is steep for this.
