Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline
I could of swore I saw reviews of that wave as far back as May. I guess not. I stand corrected then.

It's nothing new really. Mcfarlane had these gold, bronze edition back in the day. And Toybiz also did it for Marvel Legends.

Agree to disagree. Sure, it's a chase figure. All I'm saying is that if you're buying online you don't see whether you got a chase figure or not until it is in your hands. Lots of folks aren't going to brick and mortar stores these days.

I don't think there would be chase figures if lots of folks weren't going to brick and mortar anymore cause it's the only place it works and makes sense to have it.

Preview pics of the upcoming Walmart exclusive Gold Label Black Lightning and Vampire Green Lantern, as well as official pics of the non-exclusive Hawkman (Zero Hour).

I loved that story line with Sinestro. Looking at this figure makes me want to dig out my copy of it and read it again lol. Why is this $40 though?

Probably because it looks like the basic figures will now include a stand to hold the collectible card.

What a cynical move by McFarlane to up the price for no reason. I can't believe anyone was asking for a stand for the trading card. Meanwhile, if you want an unmasked head, you still have to buy the entire figure twice. Sure, McFarlane figures are lower priced, but when you do the math, they really aren't.

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline
Yea I don't know who asked for that trading card stand. No way I'm paying $40 for a Sinestro that comes with hardly anything but a lamp and a card stand I won't ever use. These companies are making it so easy for me to pass on a lot. I don't even collect Multiverse and I'd have started with Sinestro but no thanks at $40.
