It will probably show up way earlier than May 2023. Hasbro seems to be doing this to hedge their bets due to the current supplychain crunch.

At 1hr43min20sec, she talks about how they want to make sure they've manufactured enough inventory so they can send out figures in large quantities. This avoids the maddening situation where stores only get a trickle, and a lucky few snag them for scalping or just their own collections while tons of other collectors feel like they are left in the dust. That's great, I actually approve of the longer wait if we get enough supply at the stores instead of this agonizing trickle.

yeah this I didn't understand either, I was expecting them to be a 2 pack that would have made sense, but Hasbro gonna Hasbro, it's like how silly it was that Cloak & Dagger were separate, which made no sense either

If ordering from Amazon, make sure to select "ship in Amazon packaging" or else it will be shipped naked with a sticker slapped on the product box. In theory it should be in a mailer from Hasbro, but there's no guarantee.
