But if you do end up getting IM, I would not sitting on it, because IM usually sells out after release (like a month or 2) and then his price increases by like $50-75 in like 6 months
Oh that's not too bad then. I'll see how things go with the finances and make my decision later. If I love Batman, I would be more likely to bite haha. 1/4 huh? Someone should just go and make a 1/1 lol.

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

Mostly due to CT015 being a horrible, terrible person I am committed to getting these figures in from the Avengers, and now Batman DKR.

It's crazy expensive, but if the quality is as good as you say, then i am looking forward to having and displaying these guys.

Currently have pre-ordered: Captain America Avengers Movie, Thor Avengers Movie, Hawkeye Avengers Movie, Iron Man MK VII Avengers Movie, Black Widow Avengers Movie and the Batman from Dark Knight Rises.

My wife is thrilled.... :S

Jeeze, you don't do anything halfassed, do you?

I am waiting to see how I feel about Batman before I grab any more. It's primarily why I couldn't pull the trigger on IM. I'm sure I'll like Batman, it's just a question of whether I go heavily into the line or just really pick and choose.

Direct from Sideshow, unfortunately. Toronto dealer was out every time I got a chance to check their links. I am worried about how much this will cost, especially with the Fall/Holiday releases, but such is the life of a CDO collector. And yes, that acronym is in alphabetical order, as it should be.

Well, no, not really. I have always been a huge Marvel guy, and this was sort of a dream come true to have this film be in my lifetime, so I figure if I slow down on the rest of my spending to collect these guys, then I am doing okay for a bit, and lowering wife aggro too hopefully.

Batman was sort of a leap of faith for me, but seeing as how I will need a display case for these already, I can put him in there alongside some of the older Sideshow 12" Star Wars figures I have and finally get some of these out and proudly displayed at home, if only to torment my 3.5 year old daughter who will undoubtedly also want to play with these...

And the Nolan Batman films are likely the end of some amazing films that happen to be about a comic book character, unlike Avengers and Marvel Studio films which will be awesome Comic Book movies. So having this figure is also to commemorate that trilogy and the impact it has had on some of us.

Too wordy maybe?

Thanks guys, looking forward to posting pictures of these when they start to trickle in.

Oh, and Hulk Preorder done too.
