November 14th Metropolis Comics and Toys is holding out first Gundam
Contest!*
The contest is great for all ages! You don't have to be a professional model
maker or have mad skills to compete here. Just buy the gundam you want to
build and have fun building it. Come back for the judging and run the chance
of getting one of three prizes worth up to $80! Learn exciting new tricks
and techniques from other Gundam enthusiasts. Judging at 3pm.
-First Prize 1 Master Grade $50-80
-Second Prize 1 High Grade $15-30
-Third Prize 1 Full Stamp Card (Worth $10)
All gundam kits entered will be featured on the store website. Plus every
contestant is a winner! Even if you don't win, on the day of the contest,
every person who enters will be allowed to buy one additional gundam of
their choosing at 10% off! And as if that isn't enough, we will be keeping
the sign up sheet, so anyone who entered this contest will be applicable for
a 10% discount off the kit they want to enter into the next contest! By
Grabthar's Hammer, what a savings!
*Rules:*
All gundam kits must be purchased from MCT and entered into the contest via
sign up sheet upon purchasing. All entries must be brought into the store
for judging on the 14th of November no later than 3pm. This is when the
judging will take place. Kits will be judged out of ten in three categories.
*-Detail*
This is about neatness, smoothness of paint, decals, etc. A good
area for advanced model makers to excel.
*-Effort*
This is all about how daring you are, even if you fail. Effort is
something that everybody can put in, even if you are just a
beginner.
* -Creativity*
Try to be different than everyone else. Between Effort and
Creativity, even beginners have a good chance at getting a prize!
All scores will be added up for a score out 30 and prizes will be given out
on site.
