Re: Amazing Spider-Man 3.75" Figures Released in Canada

Do they have the DCUC hips or are they Just front to back swivel?

front and back swivel, like the JLU figures.

pretty lame on a character who is all about flexability

So are all these figures "comic series?" I was expecting to see more figures from the actual movie. I realize it's all marketing, but these seem like figures that could easily exist in the current line.

Agreed. It a shame most 3.75" Spidey figures are so un-articulated. Especially considering, like Iron Man, all Hasbro has to do is make 1 really good body for him, which they can then repaint and remold them to infinity with little to no effort.
1. Amazing Spider-Man
2. Movie Spider-Man(Toby Maguire)
3. Classic Spider-Man
3. Scarlet Spider
4. Ben Reilly
5. Iron Spider-Man
6. Spider-Man 2099
7. Black Suit
8. Spider-Armor
9. Negative Zone
10. 6-Arm Spider-Man
11. Doppelganger
12. Cosmic Spider-Man
13. Spider-Phoenix
14. The Amazing Bag-Man
15. Octo-Spidey
16. Carnage
17. Spider-Carnage
18. Spider-Man Unlimited
19. Flipside
20. Wrestling Costume(any of them)
21. Spider-Man Noir
22. Zombie Spider-Man
23. Big Time(All of them)
24. Future Foundations
25. Last Stand
That's over 25 different repaints/remolds Hasbro could do. More than enough to fill out several waves of movie figures. Granted, some of them are a little far fetched. And how many of those costumes has Hasbro already done? Maybe 10? But there's a lot more I'd love to see made, especially if they were based off a really well articulated mold. Especially a Last Stand Spider-Man costume. Heck, I'd love a real life Last Stand Spider-Man jacket!

Another good idea would be to do Spider-Man comic 2-packs for some of these costumes. Just like the 2-packs they doing now, make figures based on a particular comic and include that comic with the figures.

Haha, so they broke street date? That has to be a first for Canada. Too bad the figures are terrible, and the price so high. Just what is Zellers thinking?

Yeah we've had these in for a week or so now. Seems like they are pricing all figures at 11.99 now and then price cutting them to 9.99. Its got to the point where its getting cheaper to buy older figures online.

There thinking, "Hey lets put out GI Joe and The dark Knight rises toys (released May 28th) before that Target on our backs shuts us down in June."

Re: Amazing Spider-Man 3.75" Figures Released in Canada

Wave 2 of the Amazing Spidey figs will feature ultra-poseable Spidey and Lizard figure as well as 2 other non-relevant Spideys so that's the wave to search for...you can see them at toysonfire.com as they are avalable for pre-order. Hopefully they come out with
