Hasbro these days has me playing the long game. After the hardest of the hardcore fans pick him up he will probably end up shelf warming. I got my Deluxe Boba Fett for $28 off Amazon a few weeks after release. I imagine Cobb will go down to a more reasonable price. Maybe not at TRU though, lol.

After shipping and tax you're paying around the same amount as if you bought it at TRU after tax, so I don't really see how you got a better deal here. Maybe I'm reading your post out of context? I don't know.

Cobb was out of stock, so I added another similarly sized/priced Black Series item to my cart on CMD and shipping was just over $24 to NS from Quebec. Total price was around $85(!!). So, nearly $20 more than buying Cobb from TRU.

Despite the nanners price increases at TRU (which are truly absurd), I always found CMD and their markups+high shipping costs to be wildly out of touch as well.

Yeah.

This is definitely them charging premium for 'in-demand' figures. The 'Boba Tax'.

That being said, this version of Cobb only appeared for an episode and is now obsolete. So it really shouldn't be a must-have figure.

If you follow the shows, the next Cobb figure to come out will likely look quite different and that will be his new look going forward.

Without lightning effects or throne that Palpatine is not very useful. I guess he could walk with Vader in the hangar bay. That?s about it.

Agreed. I have this figure and even after buying a throne you are left with a rubber robe underneath that looks weird when he is sitting down. In saying that I paid $30 for the throne shipped about a year ago.

This is also my entire SW collection with a George Trooper on order. TBS collecting is brutal.

Your black series look like 12 inch in that picture. That must be a smallish shelf. I like the ATAT drivers “dog”!

Anybody gotten their calls from GameStop yet for in-store preorders of the 212th Battalion clones or Deluxe Throne Room Boba? This is seriously frustrating how slow these things are coming in.
