Uncle Todd is still selling the normal figs at $20 USD right (?), so TRU and GS up-to the now $34.99 is some nice gouging.

I noticed that... My preferred GS here in Halifax got a bunch of the new waves of figures in yesterday and they were all priced at $34.99.

Also, Man-bat was $66.99. Huge jump from the other recent mega-figs at $54.99. Man Bat is also $39.99 USD, which is around $51 CAD with current exchange. I realize we don't get exact exchange pricing on things, but the previous mega-fig pricing was much more in line with the US.

The price jump made me put back a few I had planned to pick up, Man Bat included.

So yeah, they are gouging hard on these new ones.

I waited for Clayface to drop to $40ish and will do the same for Man-Bat.

We don't know who is price gouging though. the 66.99 price seems to be the MSRP now (same price on Amazon and other canadian colectible sites), so GS' cost per product would have gone up as well. Walmart though luckily sells it at the price of old mega figs, which is interesting.

I might be wrong, but I think that Gold Label Parallax may be the only version of the figure we're getting? When toynewsi.com posted the pics, they didn't mention anything about it being a variant version or that a regular version was being released as well.

I would still get the figure, but it's too bad they got his hair color wrong...unless it's supposed to be Kyle Rayner as Parallax with Hal Jordan's Parallax costume.

See my post #607 a few days ago regarding Gamestop. The non-new Mega figs are priced at $40.98 then minus your level of Edge discount (@ stores here in Calgary).

When you say "minus edge" do you mean before edge discount, or after applying the edge discount?

^ sorry, I just clarified my wording a bit as they are $40.98 before your Edge discount is applied. So I got Clayface for around $35 after my 15% discount.

If you check gamestop.ca I see the $21.98 and $23.98 items, but I can't see any Mega Figs on there at all. I may not be searching for the proper keyword.
