Has anyone purchased this set and, if so does the box ship in a Hasbro case like the other Amazon ML exclusives ?

As per the description under the "Buy Now"' button, yes it does.
There should be an option to ship in an Amazon box during the order process.

Thanks, appreciated. Do you happen to own it and if so what are your thoughts on it? It?s finally on sale albeit for 15% off, but anything is good so I think I?ll go for it before the sale ends

Same here. It should've been 25% off for Black Friday, especially when 3 of the figures are mostly just repaints (Walgreens Iron Man, Tigra, and Spider-Woman)
Amazon exclusives tend to go on sale for at least 20% eventually.
