Star Wars Saga Legends

This line fills a very important role this year, as it not only features repackaged figures from the past (hooray for including the rest of the bounty hunters!...but a shame they are not on the vintage card-backs), as well as a ton of extra accessories, but since this is another figure line on the "blue skies" card-backs, that means it's also part of the mini-game...so there's actually a lot packed inside these bubbles...

Basic Figures
SL01: Bossk
SL02: IG-88
SL03: Zuckuss
SL04: Greedo
SL05: Jango Fett
SL06: Darth Vader
SL07: Leia (Boussh Disguise)
SL08: Darth Maul
SL09: General Grievous
SL10: Clone Trooper (Episode II)
SL11: Darth Vader (Sith Apprentice)
SL12: Obi-Wan Kenobi
SL13: Yoda
SL14: R2-D2
SL15: Shocktrooper
SL16: Clone Trooper (Episode III)
SL17: C-3PO
SL18: Chewbacca
SL19: 501st Legion Trooper
SL20: Battle Droids (2-Pack)
SL21: Luke Skywalker (Snowspeeder Pilot)
SL22: Han Solo (Hoth Outfit)
SL23: Snowtrooper

It is good to see that they have put some 'new' figures in the SL line, like the Bounty Hunters. I hope they would mix it up more every year. How old is that Obi Wan? Isn't he from 2002?

Got the Bossk figure last week and it is truly awesome! The sculpt and detail are truly something wonderous to behold! Such a nice piece!

And to answer your question Marvs, that Obi-Wan is actually from 2005 from the ROTS line.

Thanks Prowl. I can't wait to find myself a Bossk and IG-88. I've got to round out my Bounty Hunters.

They're not all that easy to come by, but not impossible. Good luck!

Re: Star Wars Saga Legends

Are they new Sculpts Prowl?

I keep seeing them, but I am sadly just assuming it is yet another re-release of figures I bought 5 years ago and enjoy still.

Is this the Vintage-style type of articulation on them, cause that is what I really want now with my figures. As the articulation on the Clone Wars guys continues to improve, I only want to get the better figures for poses and action scenes.

Thanks for the info bud!

No, they're repainted re-releases from a few years ago. Bossk and IG-88 are repaints of their TSC counterparts from 2007. They have the same articulation, but slightly different paint jobs than those release three years back.

Hope that helps!
