Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

The thing about McFarlane is that their QC is just as bad, if not worse than Hasbro. Online orders have left me very disappointed in the past, so I still prefer GameStop which usually has very good selection for DC Multiverse in store, so I can cherry pick the best paint aps. Thankfully I have Onyx Edge, so I end up paying standard MSRP, or a little less, but yeah, GameStop's higher prices are rather annoying.

For anyone who bought the Super Powers Batman, how is the belt attached to the figure? Is it glued on or just held in place by a tab on the front?

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

Hey all, I am a bit puzzled by the Batman Adventures continues stuff, is it Mcfarlane or DC Direct? McFarlane started this multiverse line with Animated figures but after that first wave we got almost nothing and now I see these Adventures Continues figures that are in a slightly different scale and far more expensive. Are they related at all? And any reason the Adventures continues figures are seen as premium, both in price and accessibility (that being, only in specialty stores and not big box stores like Walmart).

Looks to me like it's glued on pretty firmly.

Long story short. The Adventure Continues line is DC Direct. DC stopped DC Direct released but last year Mcfarlane toys signed a deal to produce DC Direct products.
I don't know why DC Direct costs more. Probably because they are specialty figures (lower production numbers)

Yes, but it’s hit or miss. The fact that resets have started can’t be helping because it’s possible that the case is just sitting in back

The Super Powers trio are at multiple WMs here, but no sign of the 2 vehicles.
