Looks like TRU doesn't have online chat anymore. I sent an email regarding the status of my order and who they used to ship part of it but no response after a few days.

I get it, they're swamped but could have been avoided if that tracking number was linked. A bit of a gong show TRU.

It seems Hasbro in some ways does exclusives to protect retailers. If Breaker was available to all retailers, I wouldn't need to shop at TRU. Hasbro doesn't want to lose a big retail outlet for its various products. It's probably why Hasbro Pulse exists and heavily focused on because TRU USA is gone.

It helped a little but I can't tell which carrier it is or I don't recognize the company GTA GSM. At least I can see it's moving and should be here soon.

im very well aware of that, im responding to someone else saying tru is dead in the states. pretty sure EVERYONE living in Canada knows there are no Macy stores here......

TRU in the US is nothing but a brand name at this point. Their website is just Amazon affiliate links, and this whole Macy's deal is nothing more than a branded toy section.

In Canada TRU remained independent until this year, when they were bought by the owners of Sunrise Records (who also own FYE in the US now). I was hoping the new owners would bring some new blood to TRU, but so far all they've done is raised prices. Also, if the Sunrise website is anything to go by, I wouldn't have any high hopes of seeing the TRU website improved.

At least when EB Games officially became GameStop, they started to fix some of the lingering bugs on that site, and finally enabled online Edge discounts. Pretty soon I won't have to go in to the store to get my discount on online purchases anymore, but I still have a backlog of orders made with the old system.

I'd argue the two are different. One was bought out while the other rebranded. As TRU is a large company things would take time, I would wager things are already rolling but we just aren't seeing them yet. I would expect things to start rolling out in the new year once their biggest time of the year is over. Why would any company in their right mind choose their busiest season to changes things up ?

Also what has TRU raised prices on exactly ? Everything looks the same to me.
