Sideshow Collectibles has opened up pre-orders for the Escape From New York – Snake Plissken 1/3 Scale Statue being produced by Pop Culture Shock Collectibles. The film stars Kurt Russell, in one of his many collaborations with director John Carpenter. In the far off future of 1997, the President’s plane is shot down, and he has gone missing in New York. The government forces an ex soldier named Snake Plissken to sneak into Manhattan and rescue the president at all costs. The 1/3 scale statue stands about 25″ tall. It features a themed base, and a few swap out parts.
