I do think it’s a lot of newer collectors excited to be able to get their hands on variants they haven’t been able to get before. Granted, the black suit Spidey/kraven 2-pack is fairly recent, but having it on the new buck makes it fresh.

I’m skipping the Ben Reilly and Hobgoblin personally. I’ve got the Space Venom wave hobgoblin and the spider carnage Ben Reilly, and on top of that the Mafex version of Ben Reilly is about to be released.

I’m excited for Shocker though, this one has sculpted lines instead of painted on lines!

I do find it weird that the armored Spidey is based on the PS4 game model, it's like it was meant to be in a different wave but thrown in this one last minute. You can especially tell that as it has web effects that only the other PS4 Spider-Man figures have come with.

As for Hobgoblin, I would've preferred they handle it the same as the Green Goblin from last year: same body as the previous space Venom one but in brighter colors, new head and cape, and maybe a Roderick Kingsley head.

I think it was announced but hadn't been implemented yet.

Ah okay I see, so it's just being implemented now I guess. Just a suggestion but to those that are going on about price, have you ever considered selling your old stuff and using that money to buy new stuff? I'm sure most of you have old figures lying around you could care less about anymore or have in storage that you haven't looked at in years. That's what I've been doing anyway, as well as just buying the figures I REALLY need to have and waiting on the other ones I want that I know won't be too hard to get later on.

My concern is that this feels excessive. We will be told pandemic issues but I'm not sure I buy that 100%. I was paying $29.99 for legends in November 2020, $32.99 in March 2021, $33.99 say this summer, and now $34.99 currently. 3 prices increases in less than a year? Not sure about that. Right now to order 1 Maestro to my home it would cost me $80 with taxes and shipping from TRU. Gross! I know this is present with all retailers and lines but it seems excessive. If I don't like it I may have to stop collecting? Yep, might be getting close to that time, or at lease being a lot more selective.
