Yeah, complaining won't do any good, but I'd be interested in hearing Toys R Us reasons behind the price increase. $50 says they'd say something, in one part or another, about the economy. LOL

Ooops I meant $25.99 each to equal Kilawog x6! Matty collector has a set of 8 for $120 us. I do recall DCU classics were 16.99 each and then went on clearance for this over priced set to come out at TRU.

This price increase doesn't justify it all.

Tell that to Toys R Us.

Either way, $50 still wouldn't be enough to pay for 2 DCUC figures after tax. lol

LOL, ah crap you're right. Okay, $70 says they'll say something about the economy.

The thing I don't understand is how they can have single figs for $25.99, and then 2-packs right beside them for $32.99. Ees no maka sense.

Eventually this wave will sell and at the same time be cherry picked at the $25.99 price. Their self life will definitely be longer than expected even for the popular characters.

I see Shark and Deadman as peg warmers and maybe red Steppenwolf? Might as well wait for them to go on clearance. LOL

None of the pricing with the DCUC pieces really does.

Sadly, for the price of the entire Wave 11 set (including the Steppenwolf and Deadman variants, which would make it 9 figures in total), one could probably buy themselves a Blu-Ray DVD player and a few Blu-Ray DVDs (now that places like Walmart and HMV have had sales where you can get 2 for $20). Hell, you can buy a regular DVD player with surround sound speakers for less than than the cost of Wave 11.

These prices are obscene. It almost feels like in the future, collecting the DCUC figures will be as expensive a hobby as collecting luxury sports cars. lol

I would like to hope that other mass retailers like Walmart Canada or Zellers will carry the line at a reasonable price...but somehow I doubt they will.

We can only hope, but things aren't looking so great. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
